Getting started with the SQ11 spy camera

Before setting up and installing the SQ11 spy camera, it is advisable to charge the battery fully. The camera includes a built-in lithium-ion battery that can be charged by connecting it to the USB port of a PC or a portable 5V charger.
As the camera charges, the blue and red LEDs will blink continuously. Once the battery is fully charged, the red LED light will turn off, while the blue LED light will blink.

Setting the time and date

First, connect the SQ11 spy camera to a computer. Then, set the date and time by creating a text file named “TIMERSET.txt” in the memory card’s root directory. Make the following adjustments:

Press the “On/Off” button to power the camera on/off, and you will see the blue LED light up. The camcorder remains in video recording standby mode, capable of capturing 720p video.
Press the power button, and the blue LED will blink three times, starting the recording of the desired video in 720p. Videos are automatically saved every 5 minutes. To stop recording, press the power button again.

Capturing video in 1920x1080P resolution

Press the power button to turn on the SQ11 spy camera, and the blue LED light will blink continuously.
Press the ‘Mode button’ once to switch directly into the 1080p video capture mode, and both red and blue LED lights will flash simultaneously.

The camera now enters 1080p video recording standby mode.

To start recording, press the power button once, and the blue LED will turn off, with the red LED blinking three times.

Videos are automatically saved every 5 minutes. To stop recording, press the power button again.

Motion sensor video recording

To begin motion sensor video recording (from the 720p or 1080p video recording standby mode), press and hold the Mode button for 3 seconds.
The camera will switch to motion sensor recording mode.

When any motion is detected, video recording starts automatically, with red and blue LED lights flashing simultaneously. Once in motion sensor recording mode, videos are automatically saved every 5 minutes.

Capturing photos

Turn on the camera using the power button, and the blue LED will light up. Press the Mode button twice to enter photograph mode, and the red LED will flash.
To take a photo, press the power button once, and the red LED will flash again, indicating that the photo has been successfully saved.

Capturing photos at night

Press the power button to turn on the camera. Then, press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds to activate night illumination, indicated by the red LED lighting up.
To turn off night illumination, press and hold the power button for about 2 seconds, and the red LED will flash three times, indicating it is turned off.

Viewing images and video files

Connect the SQ11 spy camera to a computer, and it will be recognized as a removable disk within seconds. The blue LED indicates file transfer, while the red LED indicates the battery is charging.
